Before, everybody could post in Misc. They made it so they couldn't for a reason-They can't trust them on the forum where almost every Scratcher is.

Commercial spam was also an issue... And trolling...
Plus newer Scratchers won't know the community guidlines as well as Scratchers who have been on longer.

Miscellaneous, due to the off-topic nature and the sheer volume of posts there, is a lot harder to moderate than the other forums. Because of this, New Scratchers aren't allowed to post there in order to cut down on spam.
