This Project by thisisntme should really be featured! Well, it's kind of like a regular welcoming community type of project. Except that the animation is really amazing! Just remember to turn your speakers on when viewing this project!
I especially think that the part when animating the Scratch cat is really cool!
I hope this gets featured -- this project deserves it.

This has been in my favorites for a long time. http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/pdavila/299. Even though it’s over the 10 love-its, the project is almost 6 years old and I’m hoping deserves a little leeway. This project must have been uploaded at the beginning of the public Scratch web site. Now that we’re so close to a major upgrade I thing it’s interesting to look back at what someone could do with Scratch 1.0 (or 1.01). From the comments it appears that the Scratch Team was intrigued by the quality of the externally created sprites (common now but a new technique at the time).

I think this programming language needs to be featured, it has amazing features and deserves more views!

This project has a special history: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/taylorfamily/3001954 According to the notes it was written by a father and son team while their family lived on a sailboat for a year. What a great way to capture part of that experience.

Doroshiro Action is a really awesome first project. It currently has 10 loves, so when someone views it it may have more. It is slightly violent, but it is REALLY awesome, and this Scratcher deserves to be famous. Please feature it!

. Next week can this http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/iamepic3/3021649be featured? It is just plain AMAZING. It was inspired by his favorite series, star wars. However, the only thing accually FROM star wars, however, is the music.
Thank you.

I want to feature new projects that have not gotten enough attention. I am looking for your help. At this point we only want proposals from people whose account was created more than 2 weeks ago.
Please note that proposing a project does not mean we will feature it, we are only looking for suggestions.
These are the kind of things we're looking for:
1. simple projects
2. complex projects
3. projects that show an innovative use of Scratch
4. project that promote collaboration and remixing
5. projects that show the diversity in our community (gender, age, culture, country, interests, etc)
6. project that different kinds of people would find enjoyable
7. projects that inspire
A project CANNOT be submitted if it...
1. was created by you. This means that you CANNOT submit your project. Clear?
2. was created by someone whose project(s) have been on the front page already in the last six months (excluding Newest projects or Design Studio)
3. was shared less than 1 week ago
4. uses media (music, images, etc) from a commercial entity such as Nintendo, Sega, Disney, TV shows, movies, etc.
5. has received more than 10 love its already.
6. has violence including weapons, hurting animals or people
7. contains language inappropriate for all ages
8. is a copy of a commercial game or story, it's OK if it is inspired by though
9. has been on the front page already (excluding Newest projects or Design Studio)
10. doesn't work well online
Thanks!
Can you get my character, Mr. Meow, to be POPULAR?

Python 1: Hello World
This project shows people how to start to use a professional programming language called Python. I think this should be featured, because it gives people an opportunity to increase their knowledge of programming. Borrego uses very simple language to gradually introduce the topic with many interesting math knowledge and compares functions with scratch blocks. He though may need a small boost of motivation to continue his extravagant serie!

I don't think he noticed that the Gold version of the second project got featured. Also, I think this is my second requested feature so far this week, and it hasn't even been 3 months since G:4001 was featured (the rule is 6 months) so sorry you two but thanks for trying! I am preparing a secret project that won't be out for about 3-4 months (after the expiration date) but let's not talk about that.
