If you make good things, you can get featured. Just be patient, and Scratch will feature you, eventually (If your projects are worth). Although being on the front page is fun, Scratch is not about being 'famous'. It is about having fun, and possibly learning to program a little. And there is a very little chance you will get famous...

9. has been on the front page already

I made a plant simulator in which you have to plant a seed, fertilize it, water it, and then you get to blow the seeds away (it is a dandelion). http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/aigkids08/739137

you are not going to get your project featured, if you read the rules on page one it says that you can't submit your own projects
