I thought about it all night.
I woke up the next day and it popped out of my head!
"The Super Nova Forums!"
I talked to BV82 about my plan and he agreed.
I spread the word on scratch, but I found out that it's not allowed.
So I kept it to myself.
Some of my good friends joined.

PodTricks
WindozeNT Software's former site
WindozeNT Software's current site

PodTricks has existed since February 2011.
WindozeNT Software's old site existed since January 2011.
WindozeNT Software's current site existed since June 2011 or so.

I soon plan to shut down the current in favor of the former site, since thebuilderdd owns the current, highly impairing my ability to do anything big to the site. The Webs link is the one I own but somewhat shut down after I started work on PodTricks and fixing MacinCrash for Windoze 1.0's bugs.

When in August? If early August, fine.

If late august, then that’s only two months.

What he should be doing is contacting the Scratch Team via email or the contact us form at the bottom of the page.

Trust me, that was the first thing I did.
They told me to post here.

Looks like you've put some thought into your site - that's good!  Have you read LS97's guide to security for websites ?  It's got some good tips that could save you a lot of trouble.  I've added your site to the approved list - remember that you are responsible for what your site is showing people.  Please keep it appropriate for Scratch.

Re: Links to Member-created Websites

I would like to approve Go Everywhere! for linking on Scratch.
This site has existed since May 2011, and we have good things to protect our forums.
We have three current administrators (they are all on the hosting team). We have one current moderator, and in a day or two are looking to hire another. None of our administrators' or moderators' passwords are guessable (via SHA1 code in MySQL database).
A few spambots have attacked our forums, but before any viewers could see them their posts were deleted and they were banned. Repeat offenders have been IP-banned.
We also have a "new member" status that limits the powers of new members (with 180 second rule, and no editing or deleting posts). We have curse words in a filter. No administrators or moderators abuse power.

We would love it if you could approve Go Everywhere!

Thanks, and have a nice day!

A worthy goal - I would love to be able to use Scratch on portable devices!

I do have a concern about the website though - I see that it has a chat area.  Because of the real-time nature of chatting, moderating chat areas full time is nearly impossible.  So currently we are not approving any sites that have chat areas.  Are you using it a lot?  Would you consider removing that feature?

Nice sites!  Do they all meet the four numbered requirements in the first post?  Have you read LS97's security guide? If the answer is "yes" to those questions, then use the Report button to let me know and I'll add them to the list  smile

Sure...as long as it meets the requirements of the policy given in the first post of this topic.  If it's a simple site, go ahead and advertise.  If it has forums or other complex features, you need permission.

I'm pretty sure they won't accept chat. Unless you always have people on 24/7 on the chat to moderate it, it needs to maintain the security level of the Scratch Forums.

I didn't think it came under the category of a "complex" site that needs permission.  You only need permission if you have a forum or other complex features, or you have multiple people managing the site.
