Do You Listen To Video Game OST?

This is something I've been wondering, does anyone else here go out of there way to listen to video game soundtracks? Because in my opinion, it feels like the composers  take more time and effort to make a good song than any pop artist nowadays. For example, as I'm writing this, I'm listening to the Radical Train level music.... from Sonic 2k6  hmm . Anyways, here are my questions:

Do you listen to video game music?

And, something I've really been wondering, why do so many people give you looks when you say you listen to VG OST's (Video Game Soundtracks)?

I listen to many for that nostalgia feel.

I keep the Kingdom Hearts soundtrack close by, English and Japanese versions of Sanctuary are awesome  smile  Maybe because those people think you're strange because they've never tried it before?

Not really. I listen to chiptune sometimes, but that's different because it's not from any games.

But I never bought any of their soundtracks.


Only the CD with their songs.

Yes but most ones I listen to are so catchy you WANT them to loop forever. Looping so far into your soul.

Video game music is my favorite type of music.

Speaking of video game music, Rareware made some great songs* in their time.

Of course, Rareware isn't the only company to make great video game songs.

*Yes, I get there's no lyrics, don't bug me about it.

Green Forest was my favorite level music from that game. It was so catchy, it got your adrenaline pumping, and it was just, awesome lol. I also don't mind that Invincible jingle from sonic heroes. :3
