Okay, so i have noticed that there have been a lot off fictional writers on scratch. And I was wondering if you guys wanted to collab on a story!

Yes, definitely! What do you want to write about? I was about to start one about a kid in the future after aliens take over and he decides to run away to start a rebel group to get free! I'm a really good writer if you wanna see how I was gonna start it, ask me.

Post some examples of your work, please.

Here is a story I abandoned years ago (I was 9 at the time I wrote it I think, so it is a little stupid, especially the names of the people.).
Space War: A Space Adventure through the Galaxy By fire219
In the vastness of space, out of trillions of advanced lifeforms, there was one name over all others in space battle: Pero Stargate. Even as a young Qrealp on the planet Wurat, he was interested in space travel and weapons. When he graduated from the University of Wurat with a Golden Star degree in Star Fighting, he got hired by Star Slasher Industries. He got a job as a RD-88 Galactic Bomber pilot. For 10 years, He found little activity, except the occasional space pirate. But one day, the Galaxy's most evil species, the Prididares, came to destroy the galaxy and our hero, Pero Stargate...
Chapter 1
Preparing for Battle
As soon as Star Slasher's Galaxy Surveillance Team found the Prididare's Mothership, the Intimidator, in local airspace, the alarms were sounded and the Space Pilot Team sprang into action. Pero was first out in his fully loaded RD-88. Once everyone was out and ready, it was not hard to find the 200 mile long Intimidator. Immediately, the Prididares let out their prestigious MGH-970 Galaxy Slicers. Soon, the first wave of MGH-970s were destroyed by Pero and his comrades.
Chapter 2 The EIT-99s Dawn
After a couple of hours, it was obvious the MGH-970 was obsolete. The Prididares had lost 700 of their 30 year old MGH-970s, compared to 20 of the Star Slasher's $10,000,000 RD-88s. The Prididare's leader, Ryesed Lazer, decided it was time to launch their new star fighter, the EIT-99 Star Pulverizer. Soon, 2,000 of the new EIT-99s with their dual 5 gigawatt lasers, were launched. Within the hour's end, 500 RD-88s were destroyed with no EIT-99 losses. One destroyed RD-88 held Pero's childhood friend, Hutug Resep.
EDIT: Sorry for the formatting problems, the Post Reply form is not WYSIWYG, I guess.

Okay, here's a preview of Judo's next segment
I froze with fear. I started to shake a little, and I managed to mumble "C-C-Cam..." so he got my attention. I felt him look at me fixated on the figure, and saw him out of the corner of my eye, look towards where I was looking. Cam dropped his sauce-covered chip. I just sat there. Staring at this hooded...thing. I can't explain to you how terrifying it is. To see your dreams turn into reality. Especially if they're nightmares.

I'm a writer, but I'm fictional. I can't help you because I don't actually exist. ;_;

I'd like to, but I'm not sure... I've written before. I could think up an example if you want.

OK sci-fi!
It was dark. Very dark. The street lamps provided little consolation for those running around Syn City. Once a thriving super-city, Syn City fell into despair after The Visitation of 2089. An armada of extraterrestrial outlaws had chosen to land in the center of the booming metropolis. Panic ensued as the SWAT team had been sent in, and the city was quarantined. Citizens were evacuated in an attempt to prevent injury. Few left. Thirty years later, and the city is a haven for those with a bounty on their head, be they of this planet or not. Ever since the government pulled out, anarchy has reigned. A hierarchy of thugs and and alien gangs are all the "government" this city has to offer.
Human/alien tensions have been high recently, and one of the last major human corporations left in Syn City, ViroTech, has been accused by alien political ambassadors of sending assassins to eliminate alien competition. Not that they have proof. But all it takes is for one of us to slip up, to get caught, and all heck will break loose, plunging Syn city into an inter-species war. I'm one of those assassins, or rather I was. Things change; and so do I. Still, that wouldn't cut much ice if the alien gangs found out. We weren't exactly "friends" to begin with either.
I'm not planning on making that into a story, unless that's what you're looking for.

How would we go around doing this? Would we be on a rota and write, say, a paragraph each?

The maniac with the goggles was typing, if you could call it that. He slammed his bony fingers once, twice, three times on the keyboard, then they sharpened into tiny needles and blurred, stabbing with lightning speed.
The text scrolled across the screen, an eternal wave of black and white. Suddenly, he stopped. His hand whipped out and grabbed the mouse. With a giggle belonging to the insane, the maniac pressed the Submit button.

Sure... depends on the type....
I do a lot of Science Fiction and Fictional writing, but sometimes in school when they do the "horror" it gets way out of control.
