As you all know, many animals are being treated inhumanely. Whenever I eat a piece of chicken and then think about what it had to go through in order to become my next meal, I sort of cringe, but I continue eating anyways.
First of all, people, I know some methods are disturbing, but that doesn't mean you should deprive yourself of meat. Animal rights organizations, like PETA, overreact about this and sometimes go overboard. Take for example, does anyone remember when they called out Obama for swatting a fly during an interview? Yep. That was them alright. Do you see how ridiculous it is?
Another thing, people killed animals for food back then, too. Why do you think they had spheres, knives, and daggers? They needed to hunt animals for their own survival, so they won't starve to death. Carnivorous animals, like lions and tigers, also depend on meat to survive. This means that they have to kill another animal. Now, I'm not saying we're animals, but, like lions and tigers and all of those other predators, we're living things, too, so let's keep that in mind.
In conclusion, I do believe our methods can go overboard, like in this video, but we still have to eat meat to survive. So, in other words, no matter how much PETA tries, I'm not going to stop eating meat. But, of course, let's remember not to avoid vegetables and all those other foods. Those are also a very important part of your diet.

Someone kills a dog or cat, I will hunt them down and personally rip their liver out then stuff it down their lungs.
My only comment on animal cruelty.

Swatting a fly?
What were they thinking?
Seriously, dogs and cats I understand, but flies?

That's a waste of a liver. Make 'em donate it instead. Or feed it to a dog or cat.

That's another issue. Think about it. People kill chickens, but yet we still continue eating and we don't really care. But when someone kills a cat or dog, suddenly it's a big deal. Now, don't get me wrong, I love cats and dogs, but chickens and other animals that we eat have just as much rights as our house pets. No matter how cruel it may seem, it does not give you the right to "hunt them down and personally rip their liver out then stuff it down their lungs".

Not to eat but because they wont "be trained". Ever heard about the mexican man chainsawing his dog's head off? Stuff like that is what i get ticked at.

Okay, that's cruel. Now, as much as I love dogs, if you're doing it for food, I think it's not bad, no matter how sad it may seem. Some people in foreign countries eat dog. In America, we eat animals, like cow, so we aren't really any different from them. Let's remember that.
I do hate it, though, when people shoot or kill animals for sport. What's the point of killing an animal if you're not going to do anything with it or you're just going to mount its head on your wall? Either kill it for food or don't kill it at all. You're just wasting a life.

Really? Because I find animals are much better creations than humanity.

My fifth-grade teacher recommended for me to look at the PETA site for my animal rights speech. *shiver*
She's a nice teacher, but seriously, what was she thinking? The stuff on there can sometimes be a bit.... um... yeah...
Well, back on topic, I agree. I just hate when they hurt or kill animals for nothing, that's stupid. I don't like the fact we're killing cows (I actually really like cows for some reason, like in the top ten of my fav animals) but that doesn't stop me from eating In-N-Out... In fact I'm having that for dinner tonight.

I love meat and animals, and i wanna protect them.
Whenever i eat shrimp or chicken (my two favorite meats) I feel bad for that shrimp or chicken.

It's ironic because I'm learning about this stuff in biology.
