I think she means how the 180 second rule in posting gets reduced to 60 seconds. And SparkleyBubble, hopefully your reading this. It gets lowered because when you are a Scratcher you are trusted more. Some New Scratchers post spam, and that's why they have the 180 second rule. They have to wait three minutes until they can post again, which makes it hard to spam. Since real people and not computers upgrade your status, they can see if you are worthy of being a Scratcher soon or not. If you don't post spam, or do anything mean, they update you, and, knowing that you probably won't post spam because your worthy of being a Scratcher, they see no reason to keep you waiting three minutes to post another post. And all of this stuff happens when you become a Scrather for the same reason the time limit gets reduced. Because your worthy and responsible, so
they know that you won't do anything bad. Like post bad pictures. I hope this answers your question!

About the part about how long it takes... that is the typical amount, but my promotion happened only 1 week after joining the forums. I had only 11 posts. You should have "about" instead of "at least".

anyway, i'm relatively active on the mainsite and okay around here, the 180 rule just bugs me. better than the old 360 rule i guess.

You probably didn't know that New Scratchers couldn't have signatures, which is acceptable, since you're new.
Bombing your chances would be getting mad and making a topic saying "I WANNA BE A SCRATCHER NOOOOOOOOOOW!"
