To make an RP, go to the RPG forum, and make a topic. Make sure that it's not too inappropriate (Can include fighting, death, but having someone shoot a shotgun and blowing someone's guts out probably isn't the best idea. Look at some other RPGs to see how it should be.

So, is like if I am active a couple of weeks I get the rank? Cause I want to RP with my friend, and I PROMISE i am LDS and trustworthy, and I cant. She's a scratcher so... I dont know... But I see why you do it.

You don't need a rank or anything to RP. Go to the Scratch RPGs and join or make an RPG. You can do it being a New TBGer (Basically being a New Scratcher, but in the TBGs. You can delete and edit your posts, but the 180 second rule stays until you're a TBGer).

Okay. You've been on for 5 months, and you posted like, 5 posts a month. "Why am I not a Scratcher?" you may ask. Well, it's simple-If somebody only posted 25 times, the Scratch Team wouldn't have found them and put them as a Scratcher, or can't trust them yet, as they've been very inactive. You'll probably have to have around 200-300 posts before being a Scratcher. I mean, it's not official, it could be more, it could be less, but that's what I'm estimating. So, if that happened, don't make a thread complaining. Just post some more, and the ST will notice you've been on the site for quite a while, and probably promote you.
Not always 200-300 posts. Probably more like 100, but it depends on where they were. I got Scratcher status with only about 30 (maybe it helps that I'm a wiki contrib). Then again, I had also posted once in Advanced Topics and a few times in New Scratchers.

I posted a lot of times on New Scratchers and around 30 times in Advanced Topics, and of course a lot in All About Scratch before being a Scratcher, and by then I already had 500 posts. It's all because of time-If you post 100 posts, you'll be a Scratcher in around a month-The thing is that if you post more, there's more chances a moderator will find you and promote you.
Of course, most of what I say are guesses, that are probably around true, depending on both chance and how much the person posts and helps.

I think New Scratchers should be made to read these kinds of topics before they ask “how can I become a Scratcher”?

It would be good, but how would it be integrated? The first time someone enters the forum, it shows something like "Check out some guides before posting." or something?

I have been on this site for two years, and posted many projects, posted many comments, and still haven't gotten promoted.

You haven't read the last chapter, have you? You have barely posted on the forums, and you're looking to get promoted on the forums.
And to be fair, it's been an year and almost 2 months, not two years.

I've seen a scratcher with 1 post. I dont know how it is possible. how?
That just means that the Scratcher posted one time before the New Scratcher status took place. The New Scratcher thing is not from '07, it's from '09 or '10, after a troll attack.
And I'm reporting commercial spam

I believe what mentioned in the 1st page is very evident that this forum is PRO quality posting. I can see how healthy that community is when that rule is implemented. I try me best not to cross or go over the line, as you can see I'm a newbie. If I commit mistake kindly guide me.
Thanks,

I have a question about the status. Will a message appear on the site telling you you have been promoted?
Nope. You just notice on the forums.
But that would be a nice thing!

Some people can comment on your project, telling you-I noticed when someone posted on my project.
And to InfoOverLoad, it's already been implemented...

I think he means Scratcher as in the title, because he joined before the "New Scratcher" rule was implemented.
