Internet Explorer Closes down

Hi,
When I click on any project my internet explorer closes down. No error messages or anything. It has been working fine ever since I started scratch - just a bit more than a year ago. It could just be my internet - it has been doing strange things recently.
Please help,
04lukeb.

Try Firefox, it's a really cool browser, it's free and it runs on almost all computers.

I have actually found Flock to be good too. It is my main browser

Re: Internet Explorer Closes down

Thanks for all of your suggestions, but unfortunately none of them solve the problem  sad
Whatever internet browser I try, they all close down when I click on scratch. This isn't too serous, as I can use my laptop to go on scratch, but its just a bit annoying having to get my laptop out to check my messages and view other projects.

Same thing happens to me. Then that stopped, and now my computer has pop-ups all over the place. It's mayhem. I agree with everyone. It's IE.

Re: Internet Explorer Closes down

Thanks for all the posts. The problem is now fixed  big_smile
The cause was 11 viruses we had on our computer!!! Our anti-virus software had run out, but it is ok now we have removed the viruses and renewed the anti-virus software.

AnNoYeD, please shorten your signature or remove the picture. Sooner or later, a mod will ask you to.

Well, I've had pictures turned off for months...I never see them.  It really speeds up how fast the Forum pages load.  Plus, it's easier on the eyes.

AnNoYeD - That being said, if it's annoying other users, it would be considerate of you to modify your signature.

I did have images turned off for months as well. But when I realized that all of the animated glittery banners were gone (they were really annoying) I turned it back on.

On the forums, 'bump' means to bring a thread back up to the top of the list of most recently updated threads.

Not necessarily. This thread is about 2 years old, with the problem generally resolved - but then you bring it back up the list, when it's not neccecary.
