Experimental viewer

Where is it? Does this mean ST is now done with beta-testing and is ready to post Scratch 2.0?

But no, they are planning to release Scratch 2.0 sometime in 2012.

No. The experimental player has been around for quite a while, and was testing an early version of an online editor. That doesn't necessarily mean that most of the features have been worked out. The best esimate for a release date is mid 2012, though no one really knows. There's a lot of work to do.  hmm

Why'd you get rid of it?  sad

If you are having trouble with simple counting, use the following mnemonic device: 1 comes before 2 comes before 5,280 comes before 523,860,759 comes after the square root of -153 comes before π. This will make your previous counting problems seem like no big deal.

Yes, the button was removed.  The experiments with the experimental viewer have concluded.  Thanks for all your help testing it out - I'm sure your feedback was very helpful in designing the next iteration.

Aw. The experimental viewer was nice. I didn't have to download projects to see there scripts. I guess Scratch 2.0 will be even more useful now.
