Hi, Totally new here. When I run my script my sprites start in a "Base Position" and all end up in a different place then where they started. How do I get them back to the "Base Position" so I can run again from the beginning?

Thats very easy all you need to do is to run this script: <when green flag clicked><go to x whatever the x is of your base position)y: ( whatever the y is of your base position hope that helped

Ok, got it. After a few Google-fu changes I did find some other info similar to yours. Seems kind of strange that you can't just start out from the save initial positions... But this works fine... Thanks for the help. I'm trying to teach my son all of this and if I can't figure it out he certainly won't. Thanks again!

Your welcome and I agree with you about starting from the save initial points. Also scratch is a very complex programming site and many mathematical formulas need to be known to complete a very complex project, for examle square roots and logs. Depending on the age of your son I would advise you to help him along the way in the beginning until he knows alot about scratch

What I do is put the sprite where you want it to go, then press the tab for motion(if you are already there, press it again) and then drag the stuff out. They do it for you so it is pretty easy.
