A noir game?

I'm thinking of making a kinda noir game, set in the 1920s. Your job is to find the mafia distilleries and breweries and destroy them. To find them, you need to use your detective skills. I need an artist and a composer. Anyone want to help?

Re: A noir game?

You should make it first-person.

"I like to aggravate salesmen. I walk into the store and they say, 'Can I help you, sir?' I say, 'Yeah, you got anything I want?'
He says, 'Well, how would I know?' I say, 'You started this.'"

How would it work? Would you like to help?

Maybe, since my collab isn't working out

I could help on that, perhaps some jazzy stuff? I don't quite understand jazz well, I really gotta study that a bit. You probably won't need music at this stage anyway, so I have time  big_smile

JAZZ. Yes. Or make something like this: http://www.youtube.com/user/overdubsound#p/u/0/TYa7furgQsA
tongue

And I would join, but I can't compose well nor paint well  tongue
And Techno, what happened with the Garageband project?

With a straight flush.

Re: A noir game?

Right now I'm working on the title screen. I'm making it a shack at night which will hide an underground distillery.

That sounds pretty jazzy, liked it  big_smile

Not much people showed interest in the Garageband collab... I posted a demo with piano and drums and nobody replied :c´

EDIT: I'm working on a jazz tune right now, which could be the theme song.

Re: A noir game?

How's this for the theme song? You could play it at a quieter volume though.

I like it, although the ride is a bit pingy.

Can't change that much since it's made in Guitar Pro 6... Though if everyone's ok with this song I would record the bass and guitar, and use Addictive Drums for the kit.
