And just because people don't care about you doesn't mean you should quit.
If this is how you're going to act in the real world, you wouldn't survive.

But really, if you want more views, advertising is a must. In moderation though; spamming links to your projects everywhere will just get you ignored, and probably reported.
If you're well known on the forums, getting views is really easy. Just make a flashy ad (not literally) and put it in your signature. Then, you get free advertising in all of your posts. It's foolproof!!
