I'm a little confused. I see people are celebrating 2,000,000 projects on Scratch. However, if you look on the bottom of the main page it still needs a couple thousand. Also, if you look at the domain, there are no projects that go over 2,000,000 (for example http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/ttyl123/1967633 says "1967633.") So does Scratch really have over 2 million projects?

Nope. Scratch hasn't hit 2 million just yet, but we're getting close and so everyone is gearing up for it. And in case you're wondering, the Scratch Team is part of this too - the current Design Studio theme is about Scratch reaching 2 million projects.
