My ipod touch backlight broke. That's the only thing that's wrong with it. I can see it if I put it in the the light, but that's hard. I wanted to know if I could make an internal or external backlight for it for under like 10 dollars. If you do, I'm willing to hear any ideas you may have.
Thanks.

The same thing happened to my regular iPod. Have you contacted Apple?

Well, I'm not sure how much it would cost, but I'm sure you could bring it in to Apple to have it fixed. Or as an alternative, you may be able to fix it yourself.

Alright, first off, I have no clew why my i-touch broke. I just got on one day, and it didn't work. I have no idea why. Second, I can't send it back to apple, because my itouch also has a scratched screen. Any other ideas?

tech support is for teh newwwwwbs!
Lol i would fix it using random parts from broken computers that I keep around my house XD but if I couldnt do that I would buy a part to fix it, and only get apple's help as a last resort. but that's just me.
also, why does a scratched screen matter for sending it back to apple?
