Have you ever thought that this might be a copyright infringement?

I made another profile on scratch (Ebooks) and for a while I was making projects that used lists to show the ebooks. Now, I want to put them all in the forums, BUT all of my stories are too long. Is there another forum where I can post them instead?
You could put them in my forum. http://blogofrandomness.webs.com/apps/f … 51981-misc
If you decide to and you put a bunch in I might make a section just for your books.

There are a number of websites that give out free classic books, and I just wanted to put all of the popular ones in one place.

When I said all of MY stories, I meant all of them that I have on my other profile (Ebooks)

It's copyright infringement, those stories don't belong to you. There's a reason you have to pay for books and ebooks.
Not if I use the free classic ebooks.

Actually that's still sort of stealing because you don't have any right to do that. You are not a publishing or ebook company.

Well, if you go to the website (I think it's) gutenberg.org, and you choose a book, it says you can do pretty much what ever you want to do with it. You can copy it, you can sell it. You can do pretty much what ever you want!!

I believe the stories being discussed here are all in the public domain since their copyrights have expired. Nevertheless...I'm not sure why we would want to repost them here in the Scratch forums - that isn't really what these forums are for. Why not just provide a link to the gutenberg.org location?

Because I'm not getting them all from there. I guess I'll just have links to the different books.

Then how do you know the other websites allow distribution if only gutenberg says it?
Others say it too.
