I should really be working on my collab camp but i keep goofing off! Anyone else have this problem? What do you do to stop procrastinating?

Can someone please help?

The hardest part is usually starting to work on something. Once you've started, you'll get into it and find it a lot easier to continue.
I suggest you make a plan when to start working on it, get yourself together, and do it. ^^

To me, the last 50% of the project is that hardest part. You've already solved all the (major) scripting problems, and all that's left is either level design, graphics, or debugging.

There's no way, man. You're dedicated or you're not.

It doesn't mean you're not dedicated. A lot of people want to stop procrastinating, but they cant. Dont go yelling at me. Someday when you're in high school and you have something to do, but just cant get yourself to do it, don't come knocking on my virtual door.

Maybe you should set a certain time of day when you'll work on it and a certain amount of time you'll be working for (it doesn't have to be long), and follow that plan every day. It's a lot easier when following a schedule rather than just generally "working" on it.

It's working a little.

Such a thing is a common problem among people, in which I do quite frequently.
What you need to do is set a goal, and reward yourself.
The reason people often don't do things is because there is something else that pleases them at a higher amount. With a reward, you can make doing something worth it. I'm not saying force your parents to buy you something if you do something, but something little, like if you complete a scratch project, go eat a good snack you haven't had in a while.
I know, a weird example.
Another thing is setting checkpoints and goals. Checkpoints help you organize your work and progress. A goal helps you get a better grip on what you want your final product will be. Doing these things can help you coordinate an activity much easier.
Follow these, and they just might help!

Try to work on it for a certain amount of time a day. Or once a week. Or something. That's what I do.

I usually give myself food-related rewards, but now i'm on a diet so no fattening foods. :c
I think if i try and get done 1 or 2 backgrounds a day i'll be good, but so far it's been hard to stick with the commitment.

Well I just work on a project, get bored, do something else, go back to here and feel like working on it OR switch to another project on my list of projects (in show and tell)
