I thought about why anyone would do such a terrible thing.

Reminds us all why they are out there... Protecting the nation they love. Without them the USA would be nothing like it is.
They give their lives to protect us. The least we can do is keep their families in our prayers (If that is what you do) or just remember them as great brave people.
