So, recently I posted a new project, and I encountered a little inconvenience while doing so.
Here is what happened. In this project I needed a screenshot of its download link, for the built-in instructions. So I uploaded the project to Scratch under the name "Scratch Music V", took a screenshot, and then deleted it.
After I finished and imported the instructions (for which I needed the screenshot), I uploaded the project under the same name again. Much to my surprise, the project page said that it was shared "2 hours ago" (the time when I uploaded it to take the screenshot), and it also had a comment on it that was made on the deleted project.
So, I deleted the project and uploaded it again, but under a different name, with the intention of renaming it back into "Scratch Music V". This time, there was no comment and the project was recognized by the site as a new one. However, when I tried to rename it to "Scratch Music V", I received a message that the name is already taken.
Is this a glitch?

I usually scratch this sort of thing up to the server taking a bit to update. Is it possible for that to be the case? If Scratch's severs haven't quite updated to account for the change, it might cause some overlapping in regards to names or comments. Just a possibility.

I figured that, but it's been more than a day since I put up that project and it's still not working.

It's always been like this, I just assume that's how it works. I would imagine projects aren't deleted 'properly' for a while, they are just marked on the server as deleted. This is how a great many things work, for example wordpress keeps posts in the mysql table, with just a tag saying it's 'deleted'.
When you make a new project, it just removes the deleted tag. I'm just guessing all of this, so I could be wrong
