I looked at Cheddargirl's post and it said she was on the Scratch Team. Is this true? Did this just happen or something.

Woah, you're right. That's odd, though if it did happen, I wouldn't be surprised we didn't get notified. It doesn't have anything to do with us, really, other than another Scratch Team member. You probably should delete this post and ask her in a comment or something, though.

To elaborate on Harakou's post - she's still not a "full" Scratch Team member in that she's not developing Scratch 2.0, or featuring projects, etcetera, but she is getting involved in a bit more on the main site, I think.

Yep, it's true. The change happened just yesterday.

Yep, she was upgraded to Scratch Team just recently because she is doing a lot of work over on the main part of the site, which requires full admin permissions to be able to get everything done.

^These two posts pretty much sums up why the change took place. I'll still lurk around the forums, but I am getting more involved in helping out on the main site.

Congratulations cheddargirl!
Oh, and this isn't the first time such a thing happened. Paddle2See, I believe, was just a mod at first, but then he became part of the Scratch Team. He lives in Maine and has nothing to do with MIT though. I found out that developers of Scratch like andresmh have "Scratch Team at MIT" instead of just "Scratch Team." Interesting...
