Do any of you know what a demo is? I'm not talking about limited versions of video games. When I say DEMO, I mean... GRRR!!! It's hard to explain, but think of it like this: imagine a really high tech video game. Now take away the player and any plot it may have, add a bunch of professional programmers, and soup up the graphics. That's a demo. Basically, they're like digital graffiti - rival "demogroups" compete to one-up each-other in the most insane graphics demonstration in the known universe. THAT'S a demo.
I make them.
That's right, hold your applause, hold it, stop, STOP APPLAUDING FOR CRIPES SAKE!!! sorry XD.
Anyways, the point is, I host a gallery of demos on scratch. It's located here: http://scratch.mit.edu/galleries/view/115780.
If you want to show the world that you're 1337, PLEASE add something to it. Oh, and check out FADE. I spent a month on it, but you'll need a REALLY good GPU for it to sync with the music (so far only with a iMac).
Also, for a Wikipedia article about these things, go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demo_(computer_programming)
