Help!!!
I need help. How do you record sounds???????

First, you need to have a microphone. Plug it into the microphone slot on the back of your computer.
Next, open Scratch. Look in the middle of the screen, and you should see 3 tabs. Click on the one that says "Sounds". Then, click "Record". Click on the red circle to start recording.

This, and then, after recording, press stop, close, and on the thing with blocks on the left, press Sound. Then drag play sound "name" or play sound "name" until done to wherever you want it to be.
Play sound "Name" makes it so the sound is played, and moves on to the rest of the script while the song is playing.
Play sound "Name" until done makes it so that it plays the song and doesn't go to the rest of the script until the song is completely done.
(When I say song I mean your recording, I got confused 
)

well, you know, you don't need to buy a microphone if you already have one build into your computer. most laptops have mics. check to see if you have a webcam (on the top of the brim of your laptop if you have one) and I'd bet you have a mic to go with it. if you didn't your webcam would stink bad.
