I don't think anyone here is stating that gay people are different and need to be talked about. We're trying to discuss how people treat them, and talking about how they're no different from other people. Hetrosexual people do not get this kind of treatment, as there are more hetrosexusal people than those who do.

Kane was quite young when he found out he was gay. 
And I'm pretty sure he wouldn't feel 'insulted' that we're discussing his sexuality.

He's open about his sexuality, and he's sort of a hero of mine that he put up with bullying because of it. Gay people aren't treated fairly at all >.>

I didn't do it to attention-seek, in the same was a gay person does not wake up and say 'OMGOMG I wanna be gay, then people will love me!'

It's not an accusation, I'm only human and I can be wrong too but that's just what I saw.

I don't know about you, but I feel safer voicing my thoughts after somebody else has voiced theirs.  One person speaks, and everyone else suddenly feels more comfortable sharing opinions because they won't be the only one reprimanded.

Well, according to the dictionary, transgender is "a person appearing or attempting to be a member of the opposite gender, as a transsexual or habitual cross-dresser."
I am a girl, but I appear like a boy, and I am a habitual cross-dresser.

Well, I'm looking up the definition and there are a few definitions.  The one that pertains to me is "a person who emotionally and pyschologically feels that they belong to the opposite gender".  Yes, I look up a lot of things in the dictionary.  The dictionary is my friend.

That's only part of it.
The whole definition is what I stated.
You are not transsexual.

If you said somebody was, for example, smart, you would probably be only using one definition of it.  You can't say they're not just because not every definition of "smart" applies to them.
Same thing with transgender.

Alright I made a bit of a mistake here.

Transgender is different of transsexual.
I meant to say transsexual instead of that like in my original post.
But yeah, you're not transsexual although you could be transgender.

EDIT: Whoops once again let me go get the word I'm looking for.
You were right about transsexual I misread the definition.
