Uh that's not the same thing at all. This isn't a topic where someone is claiming to have a crush on a person of the same gender (or any person at all), it's talking about gay people as if they're some alien species that needs to be talked about. It's not exactly the same thing but it's like making an African-American(/British/whatever) Discussion topic. You can replace almost every instance of gay with African-(American/British/etc.) in the topic post (No I'm not saying it's the same thing, I'm saying it's offensive to gay people just as it would be offensive to black people).
Besides that, you guys are all kids and won't be able to understand until a few more years so stop with this 'bi' thing, I don't believe it. Your identity is still developing and will for a long time. It seems as if people here are using it as more of an attention thing. Just sayingUmm...what?
I don't think anyone here is stating that gay people are different and need to be talked about. We're trying to discuss how people treat them, and talking about how they're no different from other people. Hetrosexual people do not get this kind of treatment, as there are more hetrosexusal people than those who do.
Kane was quite young when he found out he was gay.
And I'm pretty sure he wouldn't feel 'insulted' that we're discussing his sexuality. He's open about his sexuality, and he's sort of a hero of mine that he put up with bullying because of it. Gay people aren't treated fairly at all >.>
How is being bi/homosexual 'attention seeking'? :L
I had that card played to me when I self harmed: 'you're just an attention seeking little **** and you deserve to die!'
I didn't do it to attention-seek, in the same was a gay person does not wake up and say 'OMGOMG I wanna be gay, then people will love me!'
It doesn't work like that at all. ._.

Stop with the irrelevant bumping please.
It seems as if most people missed my point. I'm not saying people choose to be gay/bi for attention, I'm saying that's what some people look like they're doing in this thread. I don't doubt that some people are bisexual, but what I noticed is that there was a sudden raise in admittances of people being bi after a certain popular user said it whose name might be something related to vegetables. It looked as if people were jumping on the bandwaggon. Jeff, I know you're not one of these people so don't start with me now.
It's not an accusation, I'm only human and I can be wrong too but that's just what I saw.

I don't know about you, but I feel safer voicing my thoughts after somebody else has voiced theirs. One person speaks, and everyone else suddenly feels more comfortable sharing opinions because they won't be the only one reprimanded.

I am slightly transgender myself.

Is that the same reasoning the Official Topic people and the Am I popular topic people had?

Well, according to the dictionary, transgender is "a person appearing or attempting to be a member of the opposite gender, as a transsexual or habitual cross-dresser."
I am a girl, but I appear like a boy, and I am a habitual cross-dresser.

Do you have something against homosexuality?
And anyone who has anything against transsexuals as a whole are disgusting as they didn't choose to be that way.

A transsexual is in between genders.
You're just a tom-boy.

No, I am slightly transsexual, I think. Sometimes, in my thoughts, I think of myself as a boy, then correct myself. Keep in mind I think that inside my own head.

Fine then I'll go into it.
Being transsexual means you share the same organs of both genders.
As in. Private areas.
You can't be slightly transgender.
A transgender psychologically feels that they are of the opposite gender although they have to fit that requirement

Well, I'm looking up the definition and there are a few definitions. The one that pertains to me is "a person who emotionally and pyschologically feels that they belong to the opposite gender". Yes, I look up a lot of things in the dictionary. The dictionary is my friend.

If you said somebody was, for example, smart, you would probably be only using one definition of it. You can't say they're not just because not every definition of "smart" applies to them.
Same thing with transgender.

No seriously unless you don't have both organs physically you're not a transgender.
Smart is an adjective, transgender isn't.

Alright I made a bit of a mistake here.
Transgender is different of transsexual.
I meant to say transsexual instead of that like in my original post.
But yeah, you're not transsexual although you could be transgender.
EDIT: Whoops once again let me go get the word I'm looking for.
You were right about transsexual I misread the definition.

A lot of homosexual people is a victim of bullying in schools. And most end up with depression because of homophobic people. Therefore, many homosexuals don't dare to say they're homosexual. There are many inconsiderate people in the world who don't appreciate other people's tastes.
So I like Lady Gaga. Because she's one of those people who don't hate the homosexual people and defends the LGBT.
