What do you think of Portal?

It's okay.
I don't get why people get so involved in the story. Aside from being humorous, it's bare-bones.
I'm glad to think that the community will always be kind and helpful, the language will always be a fun and easy way to be introduced into programming, the motto will always be: Imagine, Program, Share - Nomolos

It's not that the story is complex, it's just humorous, fairly original, and it's rather eerie that the first time you play through. (At least in my opinion it is. GLaDOS slowly growing more and malevolent throughout the story is very entertaining.)
This is in regards to Portal 1, as I still haven't played Portal 2.

Although I don't own or have Portal (nor am I fan), challenging puzzles are great. If it were too easy, it would be, well, boring.

It has a storyline, and it is creative IMO.

I love the story, the comedy is pure gold, and it really gets you thinking when it comes to the portal gun puzzles.

The humor is amazing if I do say so myself. The insults work amazing on bullies, cuz they don't know how to respond to it. Also, the puzzles are great. They really help yplou to think outside the box. If you don't like puzzles though, don't play this game.
The story is also amazing. In portal 1 there was a big mystery as to where all the peolpe went, and you had to find out what happened. The portal 2 story is also great because you find out about who GLaDOS really is, and how the company started. Also the whole Wheatley thing shows that absolute power means absolute corruption, which may teach us to not let 1 person to have to much power. Anyways, great game.
Jobeaners is GLaD to be here. And in case you're wondering, yes... I am STILL a potato.
