This looks pretty cool. I wonder if they will stay around during the day like spiders and creepers, or burn up when the sun comes up.
I just hope that they don't go moving blocks in any of my creations. I would hate for them to wreck all the redstone circuitry I've got in my front yard.

That's what they're meant to do.
That's also why Classic will be integrated into 1.8

I like the adventure mode, but I admit that having what I build constantly be destroyed would be rather annoying.

But they'd only spawn in the night, and it'd be a very rare occurrence, like, only a little less rare than spider jockeys.
