I think there should be multidimensional arrays (array=list). Then you could be like
(draw object with [list v])So you think we should not only include variables, lists (1D array), and matrices (2D array), but 3D arrays as well?
I think any dimension of arrays. 4d, 5d, 6d, whatever.
What would the use be of an array > 3D?

I would just say "keep it up and you'll get there", but I know that's what everyone says. To be honest, I never went through this--my first forum post was after probably two years of active project posting, etc.

Are you sure about the suggestion? I searched the suggestions page and only found two suggestions: "Matrixes" (epic fail) and "Matrices". One had 1 vote and the other had 4, though I forgot which was which.
It was a thread before that suggestion page was around, actually. I think the original topic was posted by The-Whiz.
I went and found it:
http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic … 58&p=1
But it hasn't been posted on since October 2010. Why don't we contact its supporters and ask them if they'll vote for this? A suggestions page was almost made for that thread, but never was...
Do you think it would be better to call them "Matrices", or "Tables" as suggested on the other thread?
How about just bump the other one? XD
I TOTALLY support!

Matracies should be first class. That way you can also add and multiply them

well, this idea was discussed in the past. see that on scratch suggestions. gave it two votes.
EDIT: I made costume blocks in BYOB which can handle a list like a matrice here, feel free to use, just remember to use only the costume blocks except use 'delete all of list' before starting

nevermind, i really speak bad englisch (prefer hebrew and german)
(the 'c' is a joke!)
Don't feel bad; some guy on the suggestions page said "matrixes". Matrix/Matrices is an odd word; many native English speakers don't know the real spelling. (Many don't even know what a matrix is )

Well, I use Matrices in another game called Roblox, to help me determine where the blocks go, like blocks with text on, and bocks that you stand on and so on.
Example:
11111
12221
12321
12221
11411
1 = Walls, to stop a player from falling off the side
2 = Floors, to stop a player from falling straight down when they spawn
3 = Text block, for info.
4 = Entrance/exit.
By default in Roblox, the highest number in a matrice is 0 studs, the center basically.
