Hey blob8108, I came up with a scoring mechanism for the cricket game based on the Cricket: Defend the Wicket Game on Miniclip. I have added variables called Runs and S/Rate, and Score. The Run is the added number of 'zones' the ball has hit. The S/Rate is the Runs/How Many Times The Ball Was Hit. The Score equals Runs times the S/Rate. The Score must be over 100 to win. How do you like it?

I'm not sure I understand how it works, but it seems fine to me. I tweaked it slightly (added slightly varying starting velocity on the ball to make it a little unpredictable, changed the way the "lose" broadcast works). Still needs a background, of course. Artists...?

if you look at the French cheese game, someone modeled 'Jak' as a black scratch cat. Definitely not the Joker, or Bowser...

I like the idea of a black scratch cat. That particular sprite might need a little cleaning up, but it is a good idea.

Re: Team Earth

So...

India/cricket still needs a background
France still needs finishing

Once these are done, let me know, and I'll merge them in.

You could always load up the merged one and try "Import Project" yourself, of course... but you do so at your own risk.  tongue

Re: Team Earth

Metagross said he would do a minigame for U.K. I don't know if he will or not, but keep that in mind. Also, Blob8108, are you doing the in between story, or is it Dinoclor, or is it both of you guys?

We should be able to add it in later, anyway — although I do wonder if we should finish the ones we do have first...

I've merged all the projects together; I'm afraid I won't be able to do the in-between story as well. You can link it in easily enough with the "When I recieve End <country>" and "broadcast <country>" script thingies.

Okay, well if you don't understand the scoring, go here: Cricket Defend The Wicket

Hey, Check Out The File In The Project Folder. We've Merged Some of The Minigames Thanks To Blob8108. Blob81808 and I also improved your Cricket game. Check it out. It's in the Need Finishing Folder in the Parts Of Project Folder. We also need a background for the Cricket game.

Re: Team Earth

Hey guys, I've been looking at all the other projects, and I'd say we're doing pretty good. For some reason, there are a lot of medieval-themed interactive stories.

I'm not sure which one that is; you may have to do it yourself. You can always check the history/deleted items on Dropbox if it has gone missing.

Right; farewell, all! I'm off for the week; good luck finishing! I hope I've been of some help to you all, and I'm sorry to have to leave you to finish.  smile

Yeah, that's to luckily to our advantage. I think we have a pretty unique theme.

Re: Team Earth

Draft 1 is in Dropbox. It's too big for the Scratch website  yikes . NOEZ! I asked the scratch team what we should do.

[EDIT]
I compressed it, and now it's way below the size limit.

Re: Team Earth

I'll do something to do with the UK (a minigame thing).
I don't know where it will fit in the storyline, I guess you  guys could figure that out, Or it could be a bonus game?
(I don't know, Whatever is easier.)
