CatBOT 2.0

CatBOT 2.0 is Here!

After the first one, the team sort of disbanded. Lucario621 and I wanted to continue it, but we were both busy. A few weeks ago, I decided to work on it again. The main problem was the slow engine, and that's when Lucario621 came back into the picture. He decided to help me out making it faster, and with a few commands. After some work, we were able to add 12 more commands(for a total of 23).

So go check it out  big_smile

Re: CatBOT 2.0

Woah, isn't that like amazingly famous AI thing that I was never all that impressed with? Cool dude.

I guess I could try it again, but it all seemed amazingly simple how it worked for an AI, and it's response was generic just based on a simple mood system or something.

I'm glad to think that the community will always be kind and helpful, the language will always be a fun and easy way to be introduced into programming, the motto will always be: Imagine, Program, Share - Nomolos

Though it seems simple, it actually isn't. Since Scratch doesn't have a pre-made "search for ----- on list", we had to make it. And it randomly selects a response for neutral questions, just like chat bots. Also, just like chat bots, for derogatory or complementary commands, it responds with a corresponding reply(i.e. you insult the bot, it says something mean back).

but thanks for your feedback. We'll take it into consideration for future projects.
