Just post an emoticon and if it's in Scratch's catalog, it will automatically appear as an image. For a full list of supported emotes, see the appropriate section in the BBCode Guide.

Yeah just use the faces as text and they auto appear as nice little pictures.

Here. Another way to access it is by clicking "Support" at the top of the page, and looking under where it says "Are there resources created by Scratchers?" There's a link there as well.
