anyone here own the original playstation? I have one, it was my first gaming system. If you do have one, what are your favorite games for it? I love the original three spyro games, and the third edition of Tomb raider. I also play crash bandicoot a lot ^-^

Yep! ^^ used to be in my room, but it's now in the attic. Spyro (enter the dragonfly, was it? The one with the fairy saving your games, the introduction of moneybags as you pay for the bridge, and the gems. SO MANY GEMS big_smile ) and Micro Maniacs were my favourite games smile There was also this car one that I always forget, but it was AMAZING. and you fought a tiny man in a giant robot at the end, and he was called 'Big Daddy' smile

I have never played enter the dragonfly (sadly) but in riptos rage you have to pay moneybags to cross a bridge at the beginning of the game and the fairy Zoe does save your game smile

I used to own both the original PS, as well as the redesigned PS1. Now I got a PS2.5 (Slim PS2), as well as the original PS3.

Loved it, one of the best systems out there, complete with Crash, Spyro, Tomb Raider, Tony Hawk, NFS, and much more.

ugh, i just learned they're making a game called "Skylanders, spyro's adventure." they kinda ruined spyro in my opinion T-T But, it's only my opinion. here's a pic of what he will look like in the game. T-T

Spyro looks horrible in that Skylanders thing. Looks like an alien or something with those bulgy eyes.

Same goes for Crash when they game him the "tribal" outfitting he had in those mutant games. At least they realized he looked worse, and went back to his older look.

apparently the company that made the original three games (my favorites) went bankrupt after making year of the dragon. that's why spyro has changed so much over the years. it stinks.

Insomniac Games made the first three Spyro games. They sold Spyro to Activision. Poor, poor Spyro.

@Toxic I approve of your signature, and I would agree with the Spore assessment.

The PS1 originally had no analogue sticks. The Dualshock was the first to incorporate them. Also, Warhawk had a motion controller like that of the ones found on PS3 (Dualshock 3's), except it wasn't wireless.
