Discussion about chatrooms and their challenges
Well to stop ighting kind off hopefully I decided to make a chat thread. It should work out. Well besides using this Im hoping the scratch Team can make a chat box for us to use. Because Punbb can have that.

But that isn't the point of Scratch. It's fun chatting, but that is what chat rooms are for, not Scratch

That's exactly the reason why we do not have chatrooms in this website!
We will probably never will have chatrooms. They either become chaotic (as you found) or they have to be monitored and we don't have the resources to do that.
Sorry, I'd suggest to go somewhere else to look for chatrooms.

yeah i wouldnt wanna get involved in that either having to monitor the chatroom 24/7 so people dont curse or yell or just plain spam DX somethings that are really good ideas sometimes turn out to be the worst thing you could do>someone make this their siggy

By the way, I'm going to change the title of this thread so it doesn't make people feel like we are actually encouraging them to use the forums as a chatroom. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I know I just wish we would be able to chat on the site without idiots getting in the way. I meen there are people who make me so mad sometimes i just want to throw a brick at there username on my computer.

Yeah, that's not the point of Scratch, that's the whole reason I made my website! For people to chat in real time!
