I agree with this. It isn't really that important how many views there are, much less 1 single view.

There's a similar posting weirdness.
A topic always starts out with one post.
But when someone posts, you don't get two posts, you get one! If someone posts again, you get only two posts, instead of three. Therefore, the starting post is not counted in the post count as soon as someone posts. It's weird.
Error:Signature could not load. Please wait for an indefinite amount of time, until you realize you're gullible and go off to look for another potentially interesting signature to stare at.

That's normal. 
The 'post' count is actually a measure of replies.
