I admit, I did as well plan this when I was a newer scratcher.  But I learned a lesson along the way. Its for the fun of making projects. I hope everybody learns this valuable lesson. 

I learned that the hard way. But others still fall hard trying to impress people. I try to make people laugh, that's all. I want to show people my animation so they are amused and enjoy it. It doesn't matter the love-its or views or favs I take, its the smiles that keep me going.

Yes, I do get what you're saying. You like seeing people enjoy your stuff, and it makes you want to keep making projects. What i'm talking about are greedy people who just do it for views. Views views views. Thats all they talk about.

Yes, its very questionable, those kinds of people take fame to their head so lightly, its irritating and they should respect the fame that they have!

Yea. And by "take it seriously", do you mean something like sometimes they rub it in peoples' faces?

Yeah, some NS don't get it. They think they will get instant fame by making remixable add yourself projects or jump on some trend in Scratch. I've been there    The best advice is just to make projects that you like to make and then, who knows?, others may like them even more than your trying-to-be-famous type projects. I certainly didn't think my -Inator Creator project would get that many views!

Exactly. Although you can't blame scratchers a whole bunch for having a dream, only when they have a whole lot of greediness.

I'm going to put a response to this.

I make some pretty good animations, and yeah, I did want to be famous when I was newer... I mean admit it, we all wanted to be famous and we probably still do.

I only make my animations so other people can watch them. I love seeing people respond to the animation in the comments... thats really why I make them.

New Scratchers aren't allowed to make signatures. However when you obtain Scratcher Status you can make a signature by Clicking 'Profile' towards the top left of the forums.

I like to make projects for the fun of the programming. I also do it for views and love its, but mostly for the fun of it. And for people to enjoy if they find it.
