Hi, unknown New Scratcher! I might have a few suggestions to get your popularity kickstarted:
i. Before you start, go here to see results of this method.
1. When you make projects, upload your project when it looks the best, so it will have a good icon that people will click on.
2. Make Projects for the Scratch Design Studio sometimes... Follow Rule #1 very carefully.
3. Get a good icon(and a good sig with a link to your userpage, if you're a Scratcher by then).
4. After 1, 2, and 3, comment on some other new scratcher's projects with positive feedback and suggestions for impovements. You might also want to invite them to your userpage, by telling them to click your username.
I did these things, and I went from having around 5 views to having 30 views, and one that was on the Front Page, in Most Viewed!

I took me awhile to think of this method. Give me the results in about a month and tell me if you are satisfied.

Good tips to get to the front page, but not to STAY on it. It takes a lot more than this to do that.

Thanks, I'll follow this guide to see if I can get some views on my arcade.
SpriteMaster, what do you mean? It looks like once you get enough views to be on the front page of this site once the people viewing that thing will view your newer one, right?

No. If you see people like well, I can't give examples directly, but take someone that gets on the page once. 20%-30% of the time, they will not return. Those are one-hit wonders.

Really? I didn't think content portals worked like that. I should browse around to see who are the big players here. (i know you're one )

Ha, I'm guessing the six people on top viewed and loved are the most popular?

Pretty much -.- It shouldn't be like that though. Some people are much more deserving, which is why I have my magazine, SOTW.

Question about the top-viewed page (not the top three- I mean the page you get if you click 'see more') I looked at the 'see more' page, and I have this project that's in the Design Studio, it has way more views than many of the projects on the 'see more' page, but it isn't there? Why not? Please explain if you, parcheesidude, or anyone else can. :$
Good luck and Scratch on!

Well, that SDS project might be on the front page right now in that category, and the same project can't be on the front page twice, so it shows up on the front page in the first category it showed up in.
