Are Zombies Real?
My answer? No.
One site said zombies were real, and you could get Zombieitis (actually, itis means inflamation of, so that would mean the zombie got inflamed). Your skin would turn black, which is actually a sign of either bad hypothermia, or necrotised skin. It says that you would die after a while, and then rise after a day. How, exactly isn't explained.
So, try to make a claim like that, and give verifiable evidence.
Discuss any other claims made that are similarly false.

I believe in Haiti Voodoo priests claimed they could turn a man into a "zombi." They can, of course, but it's not in the way that we think. The person is drugged, using a compound made almost entirely out of toxic ingredients. When mixed together, it is not lethal, but simply shuts down various areas of the brain, complex speaking, for example. It also triggers hormonal inbalances that cause and excess of melanin in the skin, causing the skin to appear gray or black. The blood flow is slowed, so that an injury will not bleed as much as it normally would. It essentially turns the person into a mindless slave, but they don't go hunting for brains.

That's how "zombies" came to be.
