Okay I am a new scratcher (at least that is what it says whenever I post) and I also want to be on the front page. Is there any advice to be given about getting on the front page? If so post here please.

Wow that was fast I posted this like 4 minutes ago. Okay I am friends with quite a decent amount of friends, I try to help out people and be kind and give firm advice to people who may be doing the wrong thing but it is hard to be nice to somebody who isn't back to you. I do spend alot of time on my projects, for the past few days of scratching, I used to finish projects like in a few hours but now I take at least a few days and improve my game as much as possible and make it likeable and enjoyable.

Remember that nothing good comes quickly (except fast cars which come very quickly but then they go very quickly in any direction (which includes heading away from you])
Anyway, put a lot of effort into projects. Also, be a regular on the forums.

Well, the front page is largely community controlled (ie, usually the most viewed, the most remixed, and the most loved usually hit the front page). You largely need a large amount of views, love-its, and/or remixed to end up on one of those rows.
The curator section is controlled by the curator at the time, so if the current curator likes your project, it's possible to hit the front page through the curator slot. Similarly, the Featured section is controlled by the Scratch Team, so if the Scratch Team likes your project to show it to others, it's possible to hit the front page through that slot.
It's also possible to have a gallery featured instead of a project. Unusual gallery collections with specific themes are usually featured.
Scratch Design studios is probably your best bet for getting a project on the front page since it rotates projects belonging in the current Scratch Design Studios gallery.
One more thing: You may want to read this guide for some info on getting your projects more popular.
And yet another one more thing: On the Scratch website, projects that have some questionable content but are allowed on the website are usually marked as "not for everyone", and those project are never allowed on the front page. You'll need to make sure your project can be viewable by all ages if you want to give it a chance on hitting the front page.

Well, one way you can (sort of) get on the front page is to make a project for the Scratch Design Studio. The website will randomly pick three projects from the Studio to display every time someone opens the front page. Often times, yours will be one of them. One project that I posted in the Studio got nearly 100 views over just 1 day. So, that's a pretty good start.
Good luck, and scratch on!

I have been the most veiwed section on another account, (The "worm with wings, I don't know if anyone remembers it lol) I didn't put a single bit of effort into that, but still put effort into your projects. The harder you try, the more likely you are to get on the front.

Don't aim for it.
If you spend all of your time trying to get famous your not getting the point of Scratch.
The point of scratch is to make projects for the heck of it.
If that was what scratch was for, why make the front page?
