Scratch in Window 7
Have you ever notice how slow scratch is in Windows 7? (if you have some big)
Well, here's some thing that will make it faster
Right click on your desktop>>>Personalized>>>scroll down the themes and look for the theme: " Windows 7 Basic">>> open Scratch
This will make Scratch Alot faster, SO you don't have to make a test account to let it work online anymore, just do this and you will have a 80% ~ 90% online speed.

But I have never found scratch slow and I always use windows 7
And it's the same speed on windows XP when I'm at school

It sounds like your computer has the bare minimum of specs to run Windows 7 or close to it, so running a program like Scratch causes it to lag a bit. It makes sense that getting rid of some of the visual flair in Windows 7 will improve performance. Glad you've found a way to get it running better though!
