Fill can't detect white vs. light grey/gray

That's right! Go to the Scratch paint editor, draw a circle, divide it into two making sure there are no gaps, then fill one of the halves with the light grey... SEE?!

Tolerance/Threshold problem?

It would be great if the editor had a tolerance/threshold control but that would have confused users anyway... but still, the light grey is one of the colours on the main palette! Surely!

Re: Fill can't detect white vs. light grey/gray

I think it's just that the threshold they chose is too high to distinguish between the two colors. I agree I'd be nice to be able to adjust it, but it is a simple editor for the basics.

Re: Fill can't detect white vs. light grey/gray

I noticed this too.  My 3D level map creator uses gray scale images to create 3D terrain based on the shade of grey. I have many types or greys listed but only a few are used.

Re: Fill can't detect white vs. light grey/gray

I think they chose the high level to make it easier to remove/fill gradients, but you're right, it causes problems with similar colours. I agree with the suggestion for being able to change the tolerance.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.
