I think Enzo is giving a continuity nod to RTL from the fact Roger wanted to get the lollipops first. Thus in this movie he had to stole them for his Rogerland.. whatever the heck that is  hmm  So.... basically a continuity nod is:

A reference to some aspect in a series' past or an occurrence within the universe. The nod is not necessarily a major plot point, but more of a tilt of the hat to the fans that may know these little details.

I think it would be too complicated for the younger fans so.

Working from All4Alone's idea...

MAIN PLOT:
The Mr.RaisinToast took his revenge on StickWorld and gathered the gummybear with armies of gummybears and raisintoasts. And Steve and Roger and [insert other characters here] have to go on a quest to find the 'ultimate power' (DUN-DUN-DUUN!) and reach it before the villains do (Basically it's a staff with a powerful emerald in the top). IF THE BAD GUYS REACH IT.. the heart of StickWorld will be unbalanced and StickWorld will implode on itself!!! IF THE GOOD GUYS WIN... The world will return to it's normal state, and time would rewind and pretend nothing happened, erasing everyones memory.

NOTE:
And if your wondering why the bad guys would do a suicide mission, they don't know ALL of the staff's powers.

SUBPLOT:
Steve continues to persist that the world could come to an end, and people just ignore him as things get worst with natural disasters because of the unbalance in StickWorld

The cool thing is how quickly I got this idea.  cool  Now give me a cookie for over dramatic plot  mad

That's a really cool plot! But I thought SM dismissed the gummy bear and raisin toast army plot.
