x2 Because otherwise there'd only be a limited amount of money in the whole game. How would you or the opponent get money? Or is the opponent supposed to have unlimited money?

And the mockup was just to show you an idea of how it could work, I haven't started yet.

But you could beat multiple armies with 1 unit.

Maybe 1.5x or 1.25x?

I'm thinking you would get points based on how many squares you control, not from beating an army.

Liking the ideas sep. I haven't started since we're still brainstorming.


@Max: He's inactive but can join whenever he wants so sort of.

I love the idea of points depending on how many tiles you own.

How big should the grid be? Maybe it shouldn't be a grid but be more like Risk. So it could be the shape of a world? And maybe archers could attack the enemy without losing ANY health themselves? But they're really vulnerable to attack?

Yeah, I could make the map, if you want. It would still be a grid on the continents, but some squares would be unreachable.

Archers should be able to yeah, attack without being hurt, but can only do a tiny amount of damage when defending.

Now:

Shield only points 0 degrees,90 degrees, or -90 degrees.

Shield will knock enemies back.

Trolls use Zombie code.

How about no defense, just HP.

Warrior - 6 pts - Attack 2-3, HP 3
Swordsman - 9 pts - Attack 4-5, HP 4
Archer - 9 - Attack 1 - HP 2 (Cannot be hurt while attacking)
Spearman - 12 - 4-5, HP 5 (+2 attack when defending)
Horseman - 12 - 2-3, HP 7 (Move 2 areas/tiles/whatever instead of 1)
Musketman - 15 - 2-3 - HP 3 (Cannot be hurt while attacking)
