My really nice little red riding hood cat sprite has disappeared! All I did was make a terrain sprite for a scrolling background, and when I looked behind it, red riding hood cat was GONE! She's still on the little thing below the game screen though, so i know she's kickin' about somewhere.

And I'm actually not a new scratcher. I have been on here for a year, but I didn't start an account.

Make the red riding hood cat go to x:0 y:0, go to front, and show

You could have done a number of things... did you use the "hide" block at any point in time? That makes the sprite invisible until you use the "show" block.
It's also possible that the terrain is blocking the sprite from view. Have you tried using the "go to front" block (in the looks category)? That will make your sprite appear in front of everything else.
If all else fails, you can probably solve it by right-clicking the sprite's icon and selecting "export this sprite", then going to the import button and importing it again.

That’s called the thumbnail.
If you are running on a normal mouse, right click the thumbnail and click the show button. If you are running on a Mac mouse of some sort, then control click the thumbnail and click the show button.
This will make the Little Red Riding Hood sprite go to the middle of the canvas, show, and go to the front.
