A soulution to the homepage loop
Everybody knows "Famous" scratchers and how they always get homepaged. Everybody also knows the throng of people who despise "Famous" scratchers for taking up the homepage. Well, I have a soulution. What if there was a box that said "What the famous scratchers are doing" This box would display famous scratchers (Meaning they have been homepaged a certain number of times) and the top viewed and top loved boxes would have other people's stuff, not the same old things.

This would be cool, but how would "famous" be determined?

I'm afraid this wouldn't work, because:
1. People get upset that they are not famous, so more people may get upset that they are not "Famous"
2. What would define "famous"?
3. The current system is fine
4. Your system would provoke arguments about if somebody should be classified as famous or not.
5. Must I go on?

I would like to see the front page only display a Scratchers projects a maximum of once per month. Don't like the famous thing you have suggested.
My site Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.
