The problem: my parents will kill me if I delete NN. I guess the best I can do is disable it when I get blocked on something, and re-enable it afterwards.
@awesomestickdude I can't either. D:

Overprotective? I can't take a walk without a parent with me. We live in a small neighborhood, where everyone knows each other.
But, I can play Black Ops, and Halo.

...I can't come up with a reason to think that is overprotective.
Besides the security fail.

"Oh, fine. But make sure you're holding on to those handlebars!"
"How many times do I have to tell you? I can ride my bike with no - "
"No you can't."
"I have ridden my bike around - "
"Just...you're not going to ride your bike. It's dangerous!"

Discuss annoying over-protectiveness here."You'll be abducted!" Need I say more?
I hate those... xP
But you might

I have an alias. It's Lavender Town. No really. First name: Lavender. Last name: Town. For websites that ask that's what I'm putting down. xD

Yes, you might. But that doesn't give them an excuse to be paranoid about it.

My parents haven't done that for a while- they kind of grow out of it when you're really near to being a teenager, or at least for me.
Do they even understand "privacy?"
This is often displayed when they barge into your room without knocking, sometimes just to make sure you're still alive. That happened to me once on an airplane. My dad kept coming over every 15 minutes and making sure we were still okay.
It's one thing to be overprotective, but they can at least avoid embarrassing us with their overprotectiveness.

A friend of mine actually had their parents accidentally put parental controls on the adult accounts and not the kids' ones. How lucky can a person get?

My parents are the exact opposite. They pretty much let me on the computer and leave where I go up to me because unlike most parents like to think:
KIDS CAN HAVE GOOD JUDGEMENT TOO.
And I don't go to bad sites. Really, my little brother serves the purpose most parents I've seen here do. Minus the part where he actually keeps me from going to "bad" sites. But to compensate, they obey ratings apart from a few exceptions (I have TF2 and Portal, and I'm not even sure if Super Meat Boy counts).
