Different Levels

Hey there, I'm trying to make this Break Breaker game I downloaded so there are different levels. I got the background to appear when the score hits 100 but it doesn't stay that way on any number besides 100.
Please somebody tell me how to make different levels?

Say if score is greater than 100 and less than level 3's score requirement, say, 200...

That didn't work. The background wouldn't stay. I don't even know what the code you posted is to look like! Why can't the code images be easier to view?!
