lol you're quick. Mistake. I was adding the Scratch account and the SoundCloud group, but pressed Quote instead of Edit *facepalm*

EDIT: Also edited my song idea a little, added vocals and guitar but no lyrics yet  hmm  I set it up so any of you will be able to make edits. I'll put up all ideas (including cover suggestions) in the first post  tongue

Sorry if this is spam.  tongue  But are you going to have like a subscription thing, where people who are intrested in your band will be told when you're done with a song?

Of course, "My Voice to You" didn't even have bass but I came up with it  smile  You gonna put it on Noteflight or something?

That's not spam at all  wink  That actually seems like a great idea but we don't really know how to do it. Perhaps having a newsletter of some kind would be the way to do it, but I don't really know of any service that lets you do so. We could also send demos of our songs, and band news through the newsletter.  big_smile

Yeah. If you can't write sheet music for guitar or bass you can use tabs, and writing sheet music for drums is actually mostly rhythm, once you know where each drum and cymbal goes.

EDIT: Well I listened to the song now, sounds like it'll be easy to transcribe on Noteflight  tongue

Well, out of those only 3 are moderators, those are the actual members of the band (designer45 and leebee are missing still, though I sent designer45 a link to the group).  tongue

Not for this song, I'm still waiting to know if designer45 can do the backup, though she said she could.

EDIT: Also, transcription done  tongue

Not sure about an album, for that we'll need enough material for like 50 minutes of play. I say we aim for a short EP first, with 4 or 5 songs perhaps. But before that we need to finish this track lol, we're close though  smile

My idea is this, once we're done with My Voice to You we advertise it like crazy, and once half Scratch knows us we release an original as a single, then the EP. Thoughts?

EDIT: I gave my song idea a title (actually I'm between two titles... Check first post for link) and some lyrics  big_smile  Not sure about the lyrics though, might change them sometime. The lyrics so far:

(Verse 1)
It feels oh so great
life is beautiful
with you by my side
life is wonderful

(Pre-Chorus)
With you I feel alive
stay with me so I can live alright

(Chorus)
Life is oh so great
when I share it with you
Life's so beautiful
when I'm besides you

I think it's a bit repetive but pretty good, considering I'm not that good at writing lyrics in English  tongue

I'd rather have the whole band decide on that.  smile  So far mine is more complete (lyrics) and longer, but yours is shorter and has less instruments, which would let us record it in less time (I think).

designer45 also has parts of an original song somewhere, but I'm not sure if it's actually for the band  tongue

I can't come up with good lyrics for mine, I think it might be better off without lyrics.

You can't, but somebody else might. My only problem at writing lyrics is that I never know what to write about  hmm  I think it's a bit too simple to not have lyrics though.
