I guess they're okay, but I really like that one too.  smile

Oh, and I'm starting the backup right now.  tongue

And I'm making a band setup/discussion forum, so we don't need this topic.

Here is the new forums. Everyone create a new account on this for discussion. And post something there too so I know you're on and registered.

Hmm...I don't know...how're we a Scratch band if we don't even use the Scratch Forums?

I really like the bridge, techno (even if it wasn't quite what I meant by bridge when I originally suggested it  tongue ), it really catches the listener's attention...as it sort of sounds like the end of the song, but suddenly comes back with the outro.  smile

I've been trying to think of a more interesting melody for the verse...but inspiration doesn't come on command  smile  do you want to at least fill the space between the lines with a riff of some sort?

Re: Frozen Coco - A Scratch Band

About the forum... So far we've organized pretty well using only this topic and Scratch comments occasionally, so I don't think it's necessary.  hmm

I would consider the bassline the "riff" to fill in, but perhaps some chords like in the second verse would be good.  smile

EDIT: Also, I accidentally all audio tracks and the Reaper project file for My Voice to You, so I'll have to redownload them and mix again. ._.

Once you have the song done, I could play it on veggieradio along with an interview with one of you.

How would it work anyway? I don't think I could speak "live" with anyone since my spoken English is horrible - I barely understand English when I hear it and I make lots of mistakes when I write, and I couldn't correct them when speaking.  hmm  But if the interview was done through text and then I recorded everything I write, perhaps it'd work  tongue

But yeah, broadcasting our song through veggieradio is a must  smile

How? You sadly don't seem to have any popular projects, and you're pretty new to the forums. Unless you have another account that is popular or whatevs  tongue

I think we should try to get advertising in some popular Scratch magazines, like Rockers' Weekly or Scratchazine. As we're pretty much the first "working" band (lol, I like to brag about that), we shouldn't have too much problems convincing anyone  big_smile

What I meant by press conference was a four-way interview, or something like it. Maybe some questions would be directed at specific people, while others would be at the whole band in general...we could do it as a forum topic, with an interviewer and the rest of us.

And you're written English is very good...I wouldn't know that it wasn't your native language if you hadn't told me  smile

The interview would be prerecorded, and I'd play it right before the song. Any one of you that's interested, I'd send you a recording of me asking the questions and you just send me a recording with the answers.

Ok, so, should we do the "press conference" by having us all chat in a gallery (we should include leebee though...) or just have veggieman interview one of us?

Aural as in, actually listenable and not just us talking through some cheap mics?  tongue  Some background music and pop filters to avoid harsh pops might do the job. I don't have a pop filter though, I never work with mics  hmm

No, cheap mics would be fine. Just as long as it's not a text thing, silly.

When designer45 is done recording the backup, so I can mix the song with that and then we'll see how we advertise it, other than through the radio (magazines and stuff).

It'd be great if we could do the broadcast on a weekend or Friday night, when more people are online  tongue

Why don't you give me some questions now, for me to answer on text first and then speaking them?  smile

Also. I'll try to record the bass for our 2 original song ideas so far soon. I suppose we should leave them as they are right now, with no changes. jslomba, hpotter134, can you record your respective tracks as well?
