Hello,
when I'm making a scratch project, I make a lot of adjustments to my scripts. That means, when the project is finished, there a lot of unused blocks laying around the scripting area. They make Scratch slow.
Yeah, I could delete them all, but that wouldn't be as comfortable as my suggestion ^^
My suggestion is:
You could make an extra entry in the right-click menu of the scripts area called "Delete unused blocks".

Support. BYOB has "unload unused blocks" to delete custom blocks that didn't get used.

I support!
Should this be in Scratch Suggestions?

So it would delete all blocks not attached to a hat block? I like it!
But what if I was saving some blocks, but forgot I was?
Then that would be your own fault. If that's a concern, don't use the function!

I support... Perhaps it could be part of the "clean up" function? It's precisely to clean up the script area anyway.

That'd be absolutely horrendous! I'm completely opposed to the idea and I'm appalled anyone could possibly think of it! Be ashamed!
Just kidding, of course. I'm really in support of it, actually: I notice my projects often get weighed down with useless blocks. Nice thinking!

I actually disagree with this part. I use the clean up option all the time to organize my scripts while coding and it would be really annoying if it deleted all the stray blocks I was using!

I totally support!

I support! This is a great idea and I would find this useful to delete blocks, like changed variables, instead of deleting them 1 by 1!

I definitely support! But I disagree with integrating it into the clean up function: I use it every 3 seconds, and I often have stray reporters which I plan on using later.
Summary
Original suggestion: YES
Cleanup Integration: NO

Sounds good
