Animated GIFs?

Is there any way to get premade animated gifs to animate in Scrtach (besides costumes, because they come up only having one)?

If not, we have to make them ourselves, don't we?

Re: Animated GIFs?

You import the GIF file and then drag the file into Scratch. Then all of the frames should appear.  smile

Re: Animated GIFs?

What do you mean "drag the file into Scratch"? Do you mean do it like loading creatures off Sporepedia into the Creature Creator?

EDIT: I did it Spore-style and it worked. Thanks!

EDIT AGAIN: Now I've got another problem. When I drag the file into Scratch, it replaces the sprite I already have. I tried a Herdier and it took the place of my Hydregion! Is there any way to prevent this?

Re: Animated GIFs?

The easiest way would be to just to make a new sprite, import the GIF, and then delete the first costume.

I agree, that's what I do when I need an animated GIF.
