i say we put tbg/rpg forums by misc etc., because i can never find them! edit: and if not there, put them in their own category, right on the bottom of the forums home

A while ago, the TBGs were on the main forums. However, they were moved to their current site after a big controversy. You can read more about it here. Take a look at chapter 10.

And it's impossible to 'move' the TBG back in anyway (ie. keep all the topics)

Yep. I believe the old TBG's forum is archived somewhere.
Anyway, they were moved a while ago due to a bunch of controversy that I wasn't around to know much about. But they were moved for a good reason, and it's alleviated a lot of that tension I believe.

Use the Jump To feature to access it.

Uh... well, the Scratch forums software hasn't been updated in ages - maybe it's not possible? xD
But putting it up there like that would make it look connected to the Scratch forums - it isn't.

My friend (who used scratch for a very long time before I did) says that the tbgs were moved away because they distracted forumers or something xD I think it`s best that they did that.

It's been implemented since the first versions.

BAD idea.
No it isn't.
The TBGs are a part of Scratch. If it remains almost entirely hidden from view, pretty soon they'll decide there's no point in keeping it up.
Think about it. The only way a new user can even find the TBGs is by looking at that sticky in Miscellaneous. There's no link on the forums, mainsite, anything. What's wrong with a simple redirect link on the main forums?
Unless you want it to remain barely known.

the reason they put it off the main forums is so new scratchers wouldn't know about it, so less spam, etc. experienced scratchers, however, know how to get to it and won't spam up the TBG's

I'm pretty sure that's not true.

That doesn't have anything to do with what I was saying; the Collab Challenge forum is part of the Scratch forums and it isn't even archived...
And I do know how to access the archived TBG and I have read Chris's sticky in Miscellaneous.

You have to change something in the software to make a new forum.
They might just not feel it's important enough.
Those weren't directed at you; there's a reason I double-spaced.
